VARAM ministrs Raimonds Čudars dosies vizītē uz Latgales reģionu
09.07.2025Ceturtdien, 10. jūlijā, viedās administrācijas un reģionālās attīstības ministrs Raimonds Čudars apmeklēs Latgales reģionu, lai Ludzā tiktos ar Latgales plānošanas reģiona pašvaldību vadītājiem un administrāciju. Vizītes laikā paredzētas diskusijas par pasākumiem, kas nepieciešami Austrumu pierobežas reģionu ilgtspējīgas attīstības un drošības nodrošināšanai ilgtermiņā, tostarp par jaunu katastrofu pārvaldības centru būvniecību, patvertņu pielāgošanu un aprīkošanu, kā arī Sēlijas poligona pievedceļa infrastruktūras attīstību.
Ir apstiprināts Rīcības plāns Latvijas Austrumu pierobežas ekonomiskās izaugsmes un drošības stiprināšanai, paredzot 645 miljonu eiro ieguldījumus nākamajos trīs gados drošības, ekonomikas un cilvēkresursu jomās. Tāpat Kohēzijas politikas programmas 2021.–2027. gada starpposma pārskatā Latvija ir ieplānojusi papildu 137 miljonus eiro Austrumu pierobežas reģionam.
Vizītes laikā VARAM ministrs R. Čudars apmeklēs arī Terehovas robežkontroles punktu, lai iepazītos ar aktuālo situāciju pierobežas drošības un infrastruktūras nodrošināšanā. Plānota arī ražošanas zonas apskate, kas izveidota, atjaunojot degradētu teritoriju Ludzas pilsētā Linu fabrikas teritorijā ar Eiropas Savienības fondu atbalstu.
